The following series of screen shots show you how to setup an email account in Outlook Express. This account is for james@example.com.

Firstly, choose 'Tools' and 'Accounts...'

Now choose 'Add' and 'Mail...'

Type in your name or your company's name - whatever you want to say the emails come from (e.g. Jack Jones, or Jack's custom Designs)

Type in the email address you're setting up.

Click Next.

Type in the Incoming email server, this is the same as your website but replace the "www." with "mail." e.g. mail.example.com.

In the Outgoing SMTP server type in your ISPs SMTP (outgoing) mail server. Such as mail.earthlink.net if you are with Earthlink, or smtp-server.tampabay.rr.com if you are with Road Runner. If you don't know what this is, then go into the properties of your existing email account with them, and click on the Servers tab and write down what SMTP server they have listed.

Type in the account name. This is the same as your email address, but REPLACE the @ sign with a % sign, such as john%example.com.

Type in your password.

Click on Finish. You've done it. Your account is set up.
